Carton or hard paper case: It is the most widely used packaging product. There are corrugated boxes, single-layer cardboard boxes, etc. according to different materials. There are various specifications and models.

There are three layers and five layers commonly used in cartons. The seven layers are used less. The layers are divided into inner paper, corrugated paper, core paper, facial tissue, and paper, kraft paper, corrugated paper for core paper, and various paper. The color and feel are different. The paper (color, feel) produced by different manufacturers is different.

Corrugated cardboard is made by bonding paper, backing paper, core paper and corrugated paper processed into corrugated corrugated. According to the demand of commodity packaging, corrugated board can be processed into single-faced corrugated board, three-layer corrugated board, five-layer, seven-layer, eleven-layer corrugated board.

The corrugated cardboard of different corrugated shapes also has different functions. Even with the same quality of face paper and backing paper, the performance of the corrugated board formed is different due to the difference in the shape of the enamel. There are four types of corrugated shapes commonly used in the world, which are A-type C, C-type 楞, B-type E and E-type 楞. Their technical indicators and requirements are shown in Table 1. Corrugated cardboard made of type A enamel has good cushioning properties and a certain elasticity, and type C 楞 is second to A. However, the stiffness and impact resistance are better than that of type A; the type B has a high density of arrangement, the surface of the corrugated board is flat, and the bearing pressure is high, which is suitable for printing; the type E is thin and dense, and it presents its just strength.

The difference between containers and non-containers is mainly in the outer diameter and is closely related to the type of corrugated. The relationship between the inner diameter specifications, manufacturing specifications, and outer diameter specifications of the carton will be detailed below through the following table:

Corrugated box manufacturing size method

The size of the carton is the size of the blank when making the box. The manufacturing dimensions are based on the line of pressure on the unrolled box blank. The indentation roller on the slitting machine presses a groove at the pressing line position, and the pressing line is the center line of the groove. The distance between the two lines is the manufacturing size. Converting the manufacturing dimensions to inner and outer diameter sizes can be achieved by Table 2, but they also have their own measurement methods.

Corrugated boxes have a single fight and a double fight in the manufacturing process.

Single-spinning one-page forming box is generally used for cartons with smaller circumferences; double-pieces are also called two-page boxes. Some cartons are too large in circumference, and have to use two pieces of box blanks to piece together a carton, but sometimes the carton factory uses production. The remaining material cut in the process will also be used to piece together a carton that is not too large in size, and sometimes even use four pieces. The two-page box has one more joint than the one-page box, so there are some subtle differences in the area calculation between the two.
